Seeing Beauty In All The Strange Places.

Gilded Skies is where you’ll find the night photography of Bailey Hansen, captured beneath the skies of Golden, BC. Finding beauty in freezing my arse off, swatting skittos, fighting or cursing the clouds, and, more often than not, scream-singing our little hearts out to scare the Bigfoots away. Obviously. One thing I know for certain: **it’s never a good time without my bestie.** Finding beauty in the dark with her has become a huge part of why I love doing this. The cold, the waiting, the clouds, the ridiculous amount of bug spray, the laughter, and those moments when the sky finally decides to put on a show. These photographs are pieces of those nights. A little bit of wild. A little bit of wonder. A little bit of learning. And a whole lot of looking up.
